Great location in the old town area of Brașov in waking distance to the central square, Black Church, and pedestrian areas. Fantastic service: very polite, friendly, and helpful. Warmly greeted by staff! Small boutique hotel with outstanding service that sets them apart from others!
We arrived early and they were able to store our luggage . Provided early check in so we could settle in.
Breakfast had many choices which was sufficient for our needs.
The room was beautiful and quite comfortable.
As I stated their service is above par. On the morning we were leaving we had an early train prior to breakfast time. They packed us a nice to go bag with 2 sandwiches, 3 pieces of fruit, bottle of water, and cookies. I was not expecting such generosity!

Braşov boasts one of the finest hotels you can stay at. The rooms have a stylish design and the breakfast is satisfactory. In June 2023, we spent 3 days in rainy weather, with a roof on the upper floor. Don't forget to go outside with a glass of wine.

There are things that should be put into writing. The first thing is that you need to swipe your card at the elevator to access the roof, so you can't go up freely. The staff is impolite and this doesn't make sense; we need friendlier and more polite staff. It's not a good fit for a place like Schuster. If wine is poured into your room and it's on your table, you might think it's free. However, be careful as the wine costs around 200 lei.

You can pay at checkout, be cautious. Ask as much as you can without exhausting everything. Mezzanine floor with open whiskey, do not touch. The hotel's elegance would improve with gestures from the management. I don't believe this logic will result in progress.

It would be a nice gesture to order a drink when entering the hotel. I pushed myself to ask for a glass, it's intriguing. They should learn and improve their understanding of service.

Exceptional place I have seen in Romania. The whole concept of hotel is so well developed and thought through, that I havent found anything I didnt like. Hotel building is a renovated house from the beginning of XX century done with very high standards and strong attention to details. We had a room 213 on the 2nd floor and its design, facilities, smells etc. were on the high level vs my expectation. Breakfast is very tasty, not a huge variety of food, but they had exactly what is needed for breakfast and even more. For example, guacamole, vegan deserts etc. As facility is not big for breakfast, guest were divided into 3 streams based on their preference of time for breakfast. Good solution to manage food and traffic. Level of customer care and service is exceptional: always asking about stay, welcoming and friendly. Very good SPA. My wife used a massage there and was very happy with the service. Hotel located in a close proximity to Brasov main square (5-10min walk). Additional benefit is a terrace (available only for guests) with a nice view on Tampa and old building roofs.

It was my first visit to Romania and Braşov. What attracted me to book in this hotel was the great reviews that others wrote. The hotel is an old house that has been converted into a small but special hotel with great location, modern amenities, and clean rooms, however its best asset is the staff. The staff of this hotel are professional, very pleasent and helpful. If I ever go to this town again I will not look for another place to stay in, just straight to Schuster Boarding House to live the wonderful and pleasant environment of this hotel again.
